The Cottage is ideally situated for exploring South Lakeland including
the Furness and Cartmel peninsulas, with activities such as walking,
cycling, fresh water and sea fishing, wind-surfing, bird watching and
pony trekking available.
a substantial water powered corn mill dating back to the middle ages with the last major rebuild on site being in the 1770’s, and is open as a local heritage museum.
The cottage is located
to the rear of
the mill house,
and is both peaceful and private.
